23 Custom Liberty Bells Debut Across Philadelphia for America's 250th

In the run-up to America's 250th birthday, Philadelphia is bringing 23 fiberglass replica Liberty Bells to neighborhoods across the city, each one designed by a different local artist to capture the spirit of the neighborhood it stands in. The Bells Across PA project — a partnership between America250PA and Mural Arts Philadelphia — debuts throughout spring 2026 in commercial corridors, public parks, libraries, and community spaces.

The statewide exhibition numbers more than 100 bells across Pennsylvania, with Philadelphia getting the largest concentration. Each bell is a walking tour unto itself: expect to find them in Fishtown, Germantown, West Philly, Point Breeze, Manayunk, and along the Ben Franklin Parkway. The project is free to view and is expected to stay on display through December.

If you're planning a visit: the Visit Philly blog publishes a bell map and locations as more sculptures are installed. Spring walks along the bell trail pair naturally with a stop at Independence Hall and the original Liberty Bell on 6th Street.
